Baby Gift Box

Each Baby Gift Pack includes one 4.3oz Baby Powder, one 1oz Bum Butter (diaper rash salve), one Sleepy Butter (massage salve), and one handmade washcloth (pattern varies). All of our products are natural and use organic ingredients whenever possible. These items are thoughtfully produced with baby’s well-being and safety in mind.

We carefully choose botanicals that are non-controversial for babies, in our baby products. We choose not to include any essential oils in these products, because babies skin can be so sensitive.

Please consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using herbal products, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, using products on children or currently using any medications.

Always test a small amount prior to use, discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Do not apply any Leelo Rose product internally or to wounds or infected areas of the body. If any undesirable reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult your health care provider as appropriate.

Our products are handmade, contain botanicals and essential oils, we cannot guarantee 100 percent consistency in the scent/flavor of our products.

This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Storage
Store in a cool dry environment and do not allow contact with water.

Shelf Life
We make our products in small batches and don’t use toxic preservatives that make things last forever. That being said, products that don’t contain water (like butters, powders, and oils)  are best used within one year of purchase.

My Butter is grainy/chunky, is it ok to use?
Don’t worry, your product has not spoiled. We do not use any synthetic stabilizers in our products to prevent certain ingredients from recrystallization. Sometimes natural butters can form crystals when it goes through temperature fluctuations and cools inconsistently.

The little lumps will melt when you rub the product into the skin. If the texture is bothersome, you can remove the lid and either remelt in a warm water bath (do not fully submerge or let water enter the product), or microwave at 20 second intervals until melted. Put the butter in the fridge until fully solid and then put the lid back on.

Why are there little specs in my product?

We use real botanicals in our products. Sometimes there is a bit of sediment of plant bits that sneak through our filtering process. It’s also possible you have a product that contains a natural butter that has crystallized (see “why did my product become grainy”).
