Leelo Rose is founded by the mother-daughter duo of Leah and Lori (hence the name Leelo). Lori is a retired RN, a certified Ayurvedic Health Practitioner, and a Community Herbalist. Leah has a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art and worked in jewelry design and manufacturing for several decades. Always present during this time was her passion for plants and cooking. Lori was introduced to the craft of making botanically infused skincare products during her studies of Ayurveda and herbalism. A love for creating immediately drew Leah to the idea of making natural products using the amazing properties of botanicals with her mom. Combining her creative skills with her mom’s knowledge seemed like the perfect match. Our passion for creating natural products inspired the idea to start our own company.

Our goal was to create safe products with beneficial botanical infused oils that actually work and are delightful to use. We wanted to create clean and natural skin care products that are high quality, supportive of good health, and consider the well-being of our planet, and we did it! We strive to use ethically and sustainably sourced, organic ingredients. We wanted to make sure our products wouldn’t contain any harmful synthetic ingredients or preservatives. We did a ton of research, educated ourselves, and started experimenting. After a lot of trial and error, we started manufacturing our products in small batches ourselves in Eureka, CA.
