Bum Butter

This diaper rash balm is made with organic botanicals, organic oils, and beeswax that are safe and effective for baby’s sensitive skin. Calendula, Marshmallow, Lavender, and chickweed infused olive oil, help to heal and soothe irritated skin. We intentionally made this salve a bit loose, to make it easier to apply to a wiggly baby. It is great for diaper rash and can also be used on other rashy spots that need soothing.

To Use
Apply to rashes caused by diaper rash or chubby creases to help soothe and heal irritated rashy skin. This balm is safe to use with cloth diapers.

Please consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using herbal products, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, using products on children or currently using any medications.

Always test a small amount prior to use, discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Do not apply any Leelo Rose product internally or to wounds or infected areas of the body. If any undesirable reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult your health care provider as appropriate.

Our products are handmade, contain botanicals and essential oils, we cannot guarantee 100 percent consistency in the scent/flavor of our products.

This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Storage
Store in a cool environment and do not allow contact with water.

Shelf Life
We make our products in small batches and don’t use toxic preservatives that make things last forever. That being said, products that don’t contain water (like butters, powders, and oils)  are best used within one year of purchase.

This balm is packaged in a classy frosted glass jar with a PP lid (#5), everything but the liner and label  is recyclable. Clean the jar with warm soapy water and for best results, put the jar and lid in the dishwasher. Re-use the glass jar, or remove the label and toss in the recycling.

Why are there little specs in my product?
We use real botanicals in our products. Sometimes there is a bit of sediment of plant bits that sneak through our filtering process. It’s also possible you have a product that contains a natural butter that has crystallized (see “why did my product become grainy”).

Is this balm ok to use with cloth diapers?
Yes! Bum Butter is perfectly safe to use with cloth diapers.
