Sweet Tea Lip Balm

A lovely herbal blend with a hint of lemon will quench your thirsty lips. Shea butter and jojoba oil lock in moisture. Chamomile and calendula infused avocado oil add to the herbal goodness of our Sweet tea lip balm.

To Use
Apply to lips when they feel dry, need protection or just when you want to enjoy the flavor of your favorite balm.

Please consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using herbal products, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, using products on children or currently using any medications.

Always test a small amount prior to use, discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Do not apply any Leelo Rose product internally or to wounds or infected areas of the body. If any undesirable reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult your health care provider as appropriate.

Our products are handmade, contain botanicals and essential oils, we cannot guarantee 100 percent consistency in the scent/flavor of our products.

This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Storage
Store in a cool environment.

Shelf Life
We make our products in small batches and don’t use toxic preservatives that make things last forever. That being said, products that don’t contain water (like butters, powders, and oils)  are best used within one year of purchase.

Our lip balms are packaged in plastic tubes. We have not been happy with the non-plastic options that we have tested thus far, but we will continue our search until we find an alternative.

Why did my product become grainy?

Don’t worry, your product has not spoiled. We do not use any synthetic stabilizers in our products to prevent certain ingredients from recrystallization. Sometimes shea butter in particular can form crystals when it goes through temperature fluctuations and cools too slowly.

Why are there little specs in my product?

We use real botanicals in our products. Sometimes there is a bit of sediment of plant bits that sneak through our filtering process. It’s also possible you have a product that contains a natural butter that has crystallized (see “why did my product become grainy”).
