About Leelo Rose

Leelo Rose is a small, mother/daughter owned skin care company. Our products are made in small batches in Eureka, CA. We are committed to making clean and natural skin care products that are safe, high quality, supportive of good health, and consider the well-being of our planet. We strive to use ethically sourced, toxin free, organic ingredients. We are proud to say our products do not contain any harmful synthetic ingredients or preservatives and are free from GMO ingredients, animal testing, silicone, petrochemicals, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrances, synthetic colors and dyes.

Our products are infused with herbs that have been thoughtfully selected for each item. We choose oils and butters that are specific to each product to achieve effective results. Our goal is to create safe products that actually work and are delightful to use. At Leelo Rose, we believe that along with good health, indulging in self care is extremely important. Our Story

We are the mother-daughter duo of Lori and Leah. Lori is a retired RN, a certified Ayurvedic Health Practitioner, and a Community Herbalist. Leah has a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and worked in jewelry design and manufacturing for 16 years. Always present during this time was her passion for plants and cooking. Lori was introduced to the craft of making lotion and salves and began creating some on her own. A love for creating immediately drew Leah to the idea of making natural products using the amazing properties of herbs with her mom. Combining her creative skills with her mom’s knowledge seemed like the perfect match. Our passion for creating natural products inspired the idea to start our own company.

Our goal was to create safe products with beneficial herb infused oils that actually work and are delightful to use. We wanted to create clean and natural skin care products that are high quality, supportive of good health, and consider the well-being of our planet, and we did it! We strive to use ethically sourced, toxin free, organic ingredients. We wanted to make sure our products wouldn’t contain any harmful synthetic ingredients or preservatives. We did a ton of research, educated ourselves, and started experimenting. After a lot of trial and error, we started manufacturing our products in small batches ourselves in Eureka, CA. We now sell at local craft fairs and markets, local retail shops, on Etsy and other social media outlets.

Bio

LORI

Lori is a retired RN who has continued her love for healing and wellness, becoming a certified Ayurvedic Health Practitioner. During her studies in Ayurveda, Lori also completed her community herbalist apprenticeship, adding to her decades long pursuit of supporting wellness through modern and ancient practices. During her studies, Lori was introduced to the craft of making lotion and salves and began creating some on her own, giving them to her friends and family as gifts. 

LEAH

Leah has a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and worked in jewelry design and manufacturing for 18 years. Always present during this time was her passion for plants and cooking. A love for creating immediately drew her to the idea of making natural products using the amazing properties of herbs with her mom. Combining her creative skills with her mom’s knowledge seemed like the perfect match. The idea of working together with her mom made perfect sense. Lori and Leah have worked together, sharing their expertise with each other, to create herb infused oils and an array of natural products.
